PROLOGUE

My mother often tells me stories about how she would wake up in the middle of the night to the sound of me screaming in my sleep. She tells me how she would gently pick me up in her arms so as not to wake me and gently cuddle me in her arms despite the fact that i was screaming at the top of my lungs in my sleep. It is such a difficult scenario to imagine. She always tells me about how strange it was that i talked about a girl who i was in love with , when i was only three.

I am seventeen now. Living in Auckland , New Zealand. My parents shifted here three years after they had me.

I don’t tell anyone, but i still see her in my dreams. The dreams are not as volatile, warm rather.
